Chewy Podcast Episode 1
Raphaël Titsworth-Morin: [00:00:00] Hey, and welcome to this first episode of the chewy podcast.
So let’s start with some context. Who am I? What is this? What’s happening here? My name is Raph and I am the co-founder of a tiny little design and development studio focused on using tech to have a positive impact on the world, and the environment. We’re called Éphémère Creative and we’ve been around for a couple of years. So during that time and in previous roles we have realized that there’s a lot of complexity in building the internet building websites, web apps, mobile apps, all of that sort of fun stuff. So we decided to create this project, Chewy, which is about making web development more accessible to more people. Basically, it’s [00:01:00] a set of tools, practices, and resources to help make all of this complexity more approachable to a wider variety of people from different backgrounds at different stages of their software development journey.
Now, with all of that context, what is this podcast about? The podcast is about creating a space for conversations around web development and people who are interested in it, who are trying to approach it, but maybe find the existing resources a little bit overwhelming. These first series of episodes are going to be bite-sized episodes about how the web works. How mobile apps work. What are the different layers that interact with each other so that you can view something in a browser or on your phone? So if that’s something that sounds appealing to you, you want to learn more about building these internets. Subscribe to the podcast and [00:02:00] make sure to reach out to us. You can head over to we.gochewy.io and we can start this conversation.
Thanks for listening and I’ll see you at the next episode.
